Following the pandemic, the meeting house is again open to other users.
Our Covid-19 Risk Assessment led to our terms and conditions being supplemented, for the time being, by special actions that need to be taken by the Meeting and other users, in order to keep everyone safe.
We are only allowing one group to use the building at a time. This means that hirers have use of the whole building - the Meeting Room, Garden Room, a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious lobby area.
Free Wi-fi is provided throughout the building.
Prices
For a morning, afternoon, or evening the price is £30.
For a short session of one hour only the price is £15.
The Meeting Room
7.0 x 7.0m (23 x 23ft)
- Has a wooden floor
- Has non-stacking but moveable chairs
- Has an Internet-enabled TV screen
- Has four-fold doors into the lobby, enabling larger groups to be accommodated
The Garden Room
8.85 x 4.35m (29ft x 14ft 3in)
- Is carpeted throughout
- Can be divided into two sections
- Has folding tables
- Has stacking and non-stacking chairs
- Has a piano
- Has a whiteboard
- Door opens directly into the Quiet Garden
The kitchen
The kitchen is available for preparation of hirers' own tea and coffee, and also has facilities for making light meals.
The garden
Users are very welcome to use the garden, which is a lovely place to sit and have refreshments in fine weather. It should be borne in mind that as a Quiet Garden it is a public space that may be visited by anyone during daylight hours for rest and reflection.
