We'd love to welcome you to a Meeting for Worship. You might like to make it known that you're a visitor, or new to the area and that this is the first time that you've come along to Beverley Quakers.
If you've attended Quakers elsewhere, we hope that you feel at home at our meeting. If you're new to Quakers you might find the introduction (below) helpful.
To Quakers, worship simply means sitting quietly and leaving your mind as open as you can to the promptings of your deepest self. It is an opportunity to try to put aside current cares and contemplate what is really important to you And if you find an hour too long please feel free to leave when you have had enough.
After the worship, there will probably be some notices, then an opportunity to meet others and chat over a cup of tea/coffee.
